WOMEN

The goal of our Ladies’ Ministry is to develop in the women of our church a heart for God, a heart for others, and a heart for missions. To help accomplish this goal, Generation to Generation meets once a month throughout the school year in the home of various ladies. We use this time to correspond with our missionary ladies, study God’s Word and fellowship. Throughout the year we have special meetings such as our annual Christmas Cookie Exchange, our Valentine Social and our End of the Year Picnic.

Another aspect of our Ladies’ Ministry is church-sponsored baby and bridal showers. We host bridal showers for church members or fiancés of church members. Our baby showers are given for church members who are expecting their first babies. These showers provide an opportunity for us to show love and support to our ladies at very important times in their lives.

Our meal ministry provides another opportunity to serve. Individual ladies or groups of ladies provide meals to those who have been in the hospital or are going through difficult times.

As ladies of Emmanuel Baptist Church, we desire to show the love of Christ by serving and encouraging others.
