Our Youth
The Emmanuel Baptist Church Youth Group consists of 7th-12th grade Christians who are passionate “for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Our goal in life is to serve God, not out of religious duty, but based on the personal relationship we have with Christ, His Son. Through this relationship we desire to please Christ; because “with His stripes we are [spiritually] healed” and “through Him we…have access by one Spirit unto the Father.” He has blessed us “with every spiritual blessing in Christ” what more can we do but to give our “lives a living sacrifice.”
OUR MISSION
“To praise the glory of His [Jesus Christ] grace” with our every action, word, thought, desire and motivation.
Our goal is that each teen will not only know Christ as their Savior, but also live a passionate life for Him. Romans 12: 1-2 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
