Our History

On Easter Sunday April 22nd, 1962 Emmanuel Baptist Church began in the home of Donald L. Shaw with Rev. H. Philip Kissinger preaching the message. On April 3rd, 1963 the present property on Trindle Road was purchased and building plans began to be drawn. With great anticipation and glory to God, the first service in the new church building took place December 22nd, 1963, twenty months after the first service. Since that time the ministry has grown with additional property and buildings, but the focus has always been the same-giving God the glory.
